"Appreciation is a wonderful thing; it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well." ~ Voltaire
I was just over at Ripple's fotopage and expressed my hope that she will use the edit feature and share her recipe with us as a foto-recipe page: http://rippleboom.fotopages.com/?entry=19708 I am a foodie (one who is MOST appreciative of good-tasting food) of the non-discriminating variety. I have yet to experience a cuisine I haven't liked, from the plain and simple to fancy-schmancy). Ripple's page inspired an idea :
I invite ALL OF YOU foodies in FOTOPAGES-land to post the URLS to your FOTO-RECIPE pages here on THIS thread. Together, we'll create our own foto-cookbook. What a concept!
Like my kitchen, this thread will be a cozy gathering place for those of us who can embrace photography, food preparation, and dining as a melange of fine art. We are artists of "plates or pictures of sunshine tastes of happiness and love" who get to share our creations, while consuming our creations, some with our eyes and others with their tummies. _________________ http://hwneye.fotopages.com |

it is a REALLY good idea ... (and i am going to try out that yummy looking stuffed steak too) i will try to have a go at this, but thought of camera all gunged up with flour, egg yolk etc is a bit worrying. perhaps i need a photographic assistant? or better still, i can be behind the camera and someone else can cook!

Wow Mark ! I'm amazed at your culinary expertise. Highly cordon bleu my dear . Have you seen Delia's book - How to cook eggs ? Or perhaps you wont need it with all those instant stuff that's so so much easily prepared and nutritious...
